Churches of NC.

I absolutely love this little church!

Despite the fact that the paint is peeling & there is rust on the roof.

These are all little details that add to its charm.

And the beautiful red doors are a bonus!

The Charm of A Country White Church.

My Sis and I took a day, about a week ago, and drove around a couple different towns taking more church pictures. This by far is the prettiest white church I captured that day! I love all the old charm and characteristics it has to offer. Another church to add to our project for my friend's beach house.

Simple White Church Project.

This is just a sample of things to come of a project I'm working on for a friend's beach house. She liked my sample so much, I'm not sure whether to travel back up the mountain on a clearer day or not. We shall see. Leave a comment. Would love to hear what you think. :o)

My Photography Details

Location: We are an on location "studio". Meaning, I come to you. I will use an outdoor location of your choice, or we can use one of my recommendations. I only use available natural lighting. And in doing so setting an appointment for early morning or early evening is the best time to capture those pictures. As long as we avoid that harsh afternoon light (from 10-3) we will be fine. That afternoon light often causes shadowing that we don't want to capture. If you prefer indoor shots, whether in your home or somewhere else, I will use a flash if necessary along with any outer lighting coming in through windows & doors. 

Specializing In: Scenery/Location, Pets, Seniors, Families, & Children.

 Props: Generally, I want you to bring any prop you would like. If a small child has a favorite toy or blanket, please bring it! If your teen or senior play an instrument, play a sport, enjoys reading, or loves art please encourage them to bring something that will reflect that talent or pass-time in their portrait. Occasionally, I will have something I will bring to enhance your photo, but for the most part, I leave that up to you. 

Changes of Clothes: Feel free to bring an extra set, or 2, of clothes. Your session is a reflection of who you are, so if you want to change your outfit, you may. It's always best, if when taking group photos, that everyone has on similar colors. While matching an entire outfit is fine, you don't necessarily have to. Just so long as there is one or two similar colors on everyone. That way the photo will blend well and generally lead your eyes up to the face(s) of each subject. ( Note: These are just suggestions and not “have to” rules.)

Editing & Prints: With an online proof gallery, we can move your process along much faster! Once you view your images, you will be able to pick your favorite 6-10 images (for your CD), depending on the session type you schedule. Your pictures will be edited within 1-2 weeks. But please note that this could take longer if there are several sessions in front of you. If you would like to order prints just let me know, and I will email you a price list.

 Full Disclosure: Please take note, up front, that some of the photos I shoot at your session may be used for advertisement purposes on my blog or any other such advertising. My print release plainly states that if you use any of my photos from our session, that you are agreeing that I can use them as I choose. Also, if you choose to place your photos on FB, on a blog, or any other such place, you must first: 

1. Give Jules Photography full credit by posting either my webpage, julesgphotography.blogspot.com, or FB page on your album or photos.  

2. Please do not crop out my logo when you share your images.

If you'd like to enter your photo(s) in a contest, you must have my permission first & also be sure to give me credit for the image(s) submitted.

Please do no break these agreements.
